Collar or Harness

I see people walking their small dogs with a collar attached to them. Others are using harness.
So, which one is the right one to take your dogs for a walk.

When it comes to small dogs the harness is a better choice, Why? Because small dogs don't have the strong neck muscles as big dogs do. When a small dog suddenly runs after something or pulls for an extended period of time the windpipe starts to get compressed and if the sudden jerking after a "prey" is strong enough, the windpipe can be damaged or even crushed.
